WinDirStat is short for "Windows Directory Statistics".  This is a free disk usage reporting program.  It will break down disk usage on a given hard drive by folder/tree or file type.  It also gives a very intriguing graphical representation of the layout of files on the hard drive by file type.

Have you ever gotten the dreaded "low disk space" message in Windows?  I have on many occasions.  It always took me a while to figure out which files to take off of my computer.  Well, WinDirStat makes it a snap!
