RealVNC is a remote access program much like pcAnywhere, Carbon Copy, GotoMyPC, etc. It's "lightweight" and much less system invasive than most other remote access applications, in my experience. Hey, and it's free! Bret Krebeck of the
Rock Valley College turned me onto this utility.
It synchronizes the remote clipboard with the local clipboard. It uses a single, configurable port so that it's easy setup remote access to multiple PCs on a single NAT Router. It allows connection sharing so that more than one remote user can access the same computer. It also uses Java so that you can use a web browser to connect to a remote computer.
The only draw back is that the free version doesn't allow file transfer. To work around this, I usually use an FTP server to get files to a remote computer. Or you could purchase a premium version for a reasonable price.
